This morning I was tweeting about how much I love the digital picture frame in my office.
The reason I'm loving it is because I just put new pictures on it. The problem is that it's hard to get pictures onto the digital picture frame - it has an SD card that I need to pop out, take home, copy new photos onto, and bring back.
What I really want is a picture frame that downloads new pictures wirelessly from my Facebook account - including my own pictures as well as those of my friends (similar to what
Chirp does on my desktop). There is a Y Combinator company called PicWing that does this, but I'm hesitant to get tied into a proprietary platform.
Eric Goh had the great suggestion of trying to use an
Eye-Fi in reverse. An Eye-Fi is an SD card with a wireless chip in it so that it can upload pictures to your computer or the Internet wirelessly (the good ones geotag the photos with GPS too). What I really want is one that works in reverse, downloading pictures automatically to whatever picture frame I put the SD card into.
I received 1 st personal loans when I was very young and it aided me a lot. However, I require the auto loan as well.

I got the same digital frame like you have here, and it's definitely cool. I like the simple design.

Exactly! I got this for my mom for Christmas last year. The picture frame has an email-address that will download and display any pictures sent to it. I can update my mom's frame remotely and she doesn't have to mess with transferring pictures.

I use flickr, and there are digital frames that download over WiFi from that service -- like the Kodak W1020. The experience is very nice and requires almost no attention once it's set up. I haven't done it myself, but apparently you could use that for Facebook (and other services) if you ran it through http://www.framechannel.com/ .
For a hardware-only Facebook solution, eStarling has a line of digital picture frames that can access Facebook photos -- http://www.estarling.com/experience.sf for more info. I haven't seen anybody review one yet, but the feature list sounds like exactly what you want. It also has an email address that you can give out so anyone can send photos to it... but I don't know if I'd use that, I think the options for office humor would be too tempting for my friends. :)
Hope that helps,
--Austin
